I like this game! It is sadly very short and way too easy but it’s still fun. I like the simplicity and the fact that you feel like you’re progressing and exploring the scenery (even though the look is very simple ). Try it!

Flying Steel

This is a fun little game similar to the classic c64 1942. Flying Steel looks great, I just wish it was a little more challenging at the start as I found myself getting to level 5 without a scratch and often waited for enemies to come onto the screen. Still alot of fun! Description: Play as a one man reckon force and try apprehending the Nazi’s
secret weapon, battling tanks, machine-gun towers and fighter jets along the
way.

Inquisitive Dave

This is a very fun little adventure game! I’d like to call it a point and click as it plays just like one but the problem is there’s nothing to point with as the whole game is actually controled by the keyboard. There’s some platform action in it as well so I guess you can disregard my whole comment (as I’m sure you do anyway…..you read this far??? Why??? Do you actually think I have something good to say??? Hmmnnnnn….. well I’m glad you have faith in my ability so I guess I should finish with something meaningful……..ahhhh…..hhhmmnnn…….argghhhhh….. this…… ahhhhhh…….hmmnnnnn……USE THE FORCE!!!) Yeah……. you really can’t go wrong with a line from that WarStars movie to satisfy all the geeks reading this (HAH!!!…. and I’m sure that last comment is going to annoy those geeks!!!!

Pile Of Balls

Ever wanted to play tetris with colored balls??? Well me neither……..but someone did, so they came up with this game which is actually pretty good. It realy works to play tetris with balls, who would’ve though ey? What will they think of next, scrable with numbers??? Solitaire with monkeys??? Minesweeper with actual MINES THAT BLOW YOUR HEAD OFF????

The Champions 2

I always enjoyed a good soccer game, or football as some like to call it I remember back to the days when I was a kid. We lived in Germany for a year, in the Bavarian Alps, and the only thing we did that year was eat, play on the c64 and walk around the stunning mountains (we didn’t really walk much….we were too fat to walk at the time .

Anyway …one of the first soccer games I ever saw was International Soccer. It was on a cartridge so no loading time was necessary….you could stick this baby in and be playing within seconds (unlike the games that came on a tape, which you had to flip the tape deck over, rest it on a cardboard box and balance on a chair just to get that darn thing to load properly!!!!). I included a screen-shot for nostalgia purposes

PLATFORM RACING

SOOOOO MUUUCCCHHH FUN!!!!! This is great if you want to play a multi player game.  I like to call myself MR. SNAIL! since I suck at this game I can keep losing and people don’t expect much of me. However…if by some miracle I actually win…. people think my name is COOOOLLLL!!!!

See kids, that’s the way you want to go through life. Set your standards so low that if you fail no one will care……and if you make something of yourself you’ll be the greatest success story ever.

Ragdoll Cannon 1.5

This may look like a screwed up piece of trash, but it is actually a very cool and FFFFUUUUNNNNN!!! game I often wondered what I should do with all the rag-dolls I have gathered  over the years in my back yard (I WAS LONELY OK, IT’S NOT MY FAULT THAT I SMELL LIKE FEET AND NO ONE WANTS TO BE MY FRIEND!!!) SKIES OF WAR

This is probably the coolest top down aircraft shooter since BLUE MAX!!!!  Seriously …. I really like this game a lot! It seems complicated to start off with but it is actually really simple to play. After every mission you get a new aircraft which just adds to the fun of wanting to go further and further. Sometimes during a mission you may need to go back to base to refuel, pick up propaganda pamphlets, change aircraft or buy more missiles, which is cool as your base is never too far away. The whole mouse control is great as it keeps it simple from a thousand keys you need to press in other games to pull out different weapons etc. If you haven’t played this then really give it a GO!!!!! VERY CCCOOOOOOLLLLL!!!

CHICKS ON THE RUN

Do you like chicks? I know I like chicks!!! Sometimes I find that when I try and approach them I also have them on the run! But enough about me This is a little cute puzzle game where you need to move your chicks around to their colored feeding areas in the least number of moves. Ahhhhhhhh………….so cute…….

This is a really neat series of platform games from Mateusz Skutnik, the same man who brought us Covert Front and the Submachine series. Mateusz is from Poland, which is very close to where I was born. My favorite of this series of games would be the level based Funky Forest featuring the squirrel family, and we all know that squirrels are cool and that’s enough reason to play all these games
