Button Hunt 3

A very simple yet cool idea makes a really fun game! You will have to cook, bake, shoot down meteors and perform surgery just to mention a few, all in the hope of finding that little red button. A button which quite obviously represents a bug planted in different locations by the US Government to monitor our every move! A bug planted in places like our toilets, designed to spy on our most private moments so that when it’s necessary the video footage of us doing a number two and wiping our butts with our hands (because we ran out of toilet paper that one time!) can be used against us as BLACKMAIL!

HOT AIR

A quality game from www.nitrome.com! I like this one because of the idea more then anything. It’s a lot of fun trying to blow into that balloon using only your mouse. The only criticism I’d have that when you crash (which I do a lot) it wakes awhile to restart each level. Once again you’re treated to some great bubbly c64 like music that transports you to the great time of the 80’s. A simpler time of multi-colored hair, leg warmers, movies about arm-wrestling truckers and the wonderful c64……oh how we miss you

FREE RIDER 2

This game reminds me of the hours and days I spent building tracks, missing meals and neglecting to do homework when I was a kid playing the old PC STUNTS game. This doesn’t even have sound, yet with the amount of freedom available it’s so much fun to build your own tracks. At first this game doesn’t look like much but when you get into it you can spend a couple of hours easy, attempting to complete something silly that you’ve build! When you’ve finished doing that you can open up a whole new world and create a little helicopter game, car track or even a uni-cycle track(Good luck with that one ). Very COOL!

I included the code to a little crazy level I did that you guys can try and finish! You know you’re done when you read BOOM! Here it is, just click the load level icon in the game then copy and paste this in:

TIPPING POINT

This is a really cool adventure by Dan Russel-Pinson. At this stage there’s three chapters but a fourth is on the way! All you adventure fans out there should enjoy this one The puzzles are actually very logical. Although if you’re anything like me then say goodbye to work, family or friends, you might be here awhile!

DINO RUN

Well in this game you’re what appears to be a green rat trying to escape the effects of Global Warming!!! Just kidding ……… I mean this game needs no introduction as it’s everywhere! and it deserves to be! I think I’ll need to replace my right cursor key and get a neck massage. I’m not sure why I believe that leaning my whole body as far as it can go to the right while balancing on the edge of my chair, clinging on with only my left butt cheek will help that darn dinosaur hurry up while surfing the wall of doom!!!! If you haven’t played it then….WWWHAAAT’SSS WRONG WITH YYOOUUU???? This is exactly the sort of c64 goodness I received as a kid, and I’m just glad that you youngsters of today are getting the same dose of goodness so maybe you can turn out just LIKE ME!! 28 years old playing kids games on the net on a Friday night

SHIFT 3

Well Shift 3 is out and I LIKE IT A LOT! This time it’s more story based and you’ve got a little map of the area which reminds me of Impossible Mission of the C64. As I said before, the idea of SHIFT is great, and in this new one there’s much more to explore. You can even build your own levels! So stay awhile……STAY FOR EVER!!!!!! (ha ha ha)

Bowja the Ninja is back! This time he’s on a mission to seize the evil plans of Abura (a.k.a. BIGMAN). Can you help Bowja as he travels deep into Bigman’s compound in this point and click adventure game.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Use your mouse to click on objects and locations on the screen to progress through the game. When your cursor is a white arrow icon then you are free to make a move. When your cursor is a spinning red arrow then you have to wait. When your cursor is a hand icon then the object or location you are pointing to is click able.

GATEWAY II

This game is simply stunning! It is probably my favorite point and click because the puzzles aren’t completely obvious, but are obvious enough that I can figure them out and feel clever doing so It is by http://cockroach.se/ , these guys have put out some really great quality games so check it out. Gateway II looks great, puzzles are logical and the mood of the whole thing is a little weird and creepy (which I like). A 6 out of 5 from me!!! PLAY IT! (if you haven’t already)

This has to be one of the coolest ideas for a puzzle game. This is from www.nitrome.com There’s is a lot of really great quality games on this website. This one is skywire in which you have to control a little cable car while listening to some great c64 like music. It’s very colorful and cute. There is also skywire 2. I’m sure most of you have played these games but if you haven’t then check them out
